Homework Assignments: Week 10 AP English Monday 10/29 Finish the prewriting for your Scarlet Letter essay. First drafts are due on Friday. Finish reviewing for part I of the Scarlet Letter exam. Tuesday 10/30 Finish preparing for the essay portion of the Scarlet Letter exam. Please bring one page of notes (double-sided) to the exam tomorrow. Wednesday 10/31 Work on the first draft of your Scarlet Letter essay. First drafts are due on Friday. Thursday 11/01 Work on the first draft of your Scarlet Letter essay--get at least the first two pages done. First drafts are due at the end of the period on Friday. Friday 11/02 Read in your new IR book. Get an early start and avoid end of the quarter stress. Homework Assignments: Week 9 Monday 10/22 Spend about 40 to 45 minutes completing the timed writing. Write the amount of time you spent on it at the top of the page. Tuesday 10/23 Read in your IR book if you have not finished reading yet. Schedule an Independent Reading test now if you have not done so already. Take one this week if you can and avoid the end of the quarter rush on Tuesday, October 30th. Wednesday 10/24 Prepare for your study question presentations. Find quotations and discuss your views. Write down your main points. Thursday 10/25 Complete the prewriting for your Scarlet Letter essay. Due Friday. Friday 10/26 Finish your Independent Reading. All IR tests must be taken by Tuesday, October 30th.
