Wednesday 12/5 Finish your study questions if you're going for the extra credit or finish studying for the exam. The exam is tomorrow. Thursday 12/6 Finish writing your review of the movie. Due Friday. Friday 12/7 Read in your IR book. Homework Assignments: Week 14 Monday 11/26 Complete the Act IV Questions: Part I. Tuesday 11/27 Complete the Act IV Questions: Part II. Wednesday 11/28 Make a list of the differences between Arthur Miller’s script of the play and Hytner’s movie version of The Crucible. Also write down some notes on your opinion of his casting choices and scene selections/adaptations. Bring these notes to class tomorrow. Thursday 11/29 Add to your script/movie notes. Browse through the speech contest wiki and write down some notes from articles, questions that you have and some ideas on angles for your speech. Bring both sets of notes to class on Friday. Homework Assignments: Week 11 Monday 11/5 Based on peer editing suggestions, the grading criteria, and your own ideas, write a second draft of your Scarlet Letter essay. Due Tuesday. Tuesday 11/6 Read to page 28 in The Crucible. Read carefully so that you are prepared for a reading quiz and/or class discussion on Wednesday. Wednesday 11/7 Read to the end of Act I in The Crucible. Read carefully so that you are prepared for a reading quiz and/or class discussion on Friday. Thursday 11/8 Based on my comments on your essay and on the Writing Notes, carefully write a final draft of your Scarlet Letter essay. Final drafts are due on Tuesday.
